Went to the North End in Boston tonight to wander around and take pictures. I’m trying to work on my ability to take good photos at night. I’ve not been pleased with my performance so far. But tonight, I think I made some progress. I think it’s pretty clear that I need a tripod for alot of what I want to do, but that can wait. I have a lot of room for improvement still without one!

In the middle of taking pictures, we stopped at Modern Pastry on Hanover Street in the North End, and had a cappuccino and cannoli each. Modern Pastry is my favorite pastry shop in the North End, Mikes Pastry is also good, but I prefer Modern Pastry. After that, we went and took some more pictures, then went to my favorite restaurant in the North End, Al Dente. It’s a small little restaurant, but has amazing food.
