I guess I have to start getting used to glittery things, and pink things. This is a portion of a golden, glittery butterfly that Merri’s uncle George got Gianna.
I was trying to get the glitter to look all sparkly, and I think I did ok with that. I also played around with it in Lightroom a bit, in order to do a bit of post-processing. I think it looks pretty good.
I tried to compose the shot so that your eye is lead from the bottom right to the upper left, following the glittery lines.
This was also shot using my new 35mm lens, which I am enjoying so much
